These beautiful bronze sculptures by Sharon Ziegenhagen are limited to a signed and numbered edition of 35 plus 3 artist's proofs. The original model is first sculpted in clay. Then, at a foundry in Montana, the sculpture is cast using the lost wax method. The foundry specializes in applying colored patinas to the finished bronze. The color is applied by brushing or spraying on chemicals; then that area is heated, causing the chemical to change color and adhere to the bronze. Pieces are available in a colored patina or the more typical bronze colored standard patina. Two Choices of Finish:
